Honorary Life Members Recognized at November Monthly Members' Meeting
On November 1, 2025, four of our longest serving members were awarded Honorary Lifetime Membership status in recognition of their many years of service to the riders' group. All have been very active in the group not only in event participation but in generous donation of their time to benefit IMRG 2037. Recipients were Sandy "Scooter" Stergulz, Dick Draffone, Charles "Skip" Doody and Tim Warner. Their sacrifice and commitment to the group have helped make it the fine organization that it is today, and we congratulate and thank all of the recipients. Remember the old expression "We can't spell SUCCESS without U", and we are always looking for those who can contribute their time and talents for this worthwhile cause as we combine service to others with comraderie and exciting group rides and events. If you're not currently active with IMRG 2037, make it a New Year's resolution and help us make 2026 the best year yet! We can't do it without YOU.

Scooter is almost always smiling, so how is it that I caught her before she flashed that wonderful smile? Well, you can be certain that she appreciated the honorary lifetime membership and will continue to be a cherished member of the group! Fittingly, Membership Director Tracy Pryll presented the certificates to all of the recipients with words of appreciation for all those being honored.

Where would we be without The Chief? Let's not think about it, okay? Dick's and Theresa's investment of blood, sweat and tears, time, energy and enthusiasm can't be summed up in a simple paragraph. As Dick wraps up his tenure as President, we recognize how much one person (or two with Theresa) can mean to an organization, and the depth of our appreciation cannot be properly expressed in this small space on a webpage. We look forward to Dick's continuing presence and inspiration as the new custodians of the organization's mission embark on a new chapter. Thank you and congratulations, Dick. We appreciate your countless sacrifices and support of the riders' group!

Having served in several roles over the years, Charles "Skip" Doody could always be counted on to pitch in for the benefit of the riders group. Skip continues to make himself available to help the group in whatever capacity he is able to make a difference. Despite no longer being able to ride, his "can-do" spirit is an inspiration to the rest of us, and we salute our friend as he continues to serve the organization in whatever capacity he can make a difference. (Skip is seen here holding an Indian Motorcycle miniature which will now be his "main ride".) Charlie Firtion located a miniature for each of the lifetime honorees, and all appreciated the thoughtfulness of our Activities Director in making the event extra special!

Hmmmm . . . We seem to be missing the recipient of this Honorary Lifetime Member Certificate! I've taken the liberty to insert his image in the lower left corner of this write-up. While Tim Warner was not in attendance at this meeting, his impact on the riders' group over the years has not been insignificant. As webmaster, he designed a website that has stood the test of time. Now if only the current "Web Dir" could spend more time keeping it current, we'd have . . . a miracle! Next time I see Web Dir, I'll put a bug in his ear . . . or maybe even two.
